This is a collection of the most popular works from JD Estrada's Urban Arts period from 1985-2005. Famously know as John Zender, he has exhibited in many urban art exhibitions and has exhibited with artist such as Retna, Futura 200, Chaz Bojorguez and many others.
Many graffiti artist begin with tagging and that opens a force for compulsive writing of their name, others choose to be more artistic. Either way the tagger exist as an alter ego.

Created in 1985 it is the oldest work in the collection. Painted while a student at Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles, this work derived from a dream, where the name Gordo was crossed out and in retaliation a shooting occurs in the streets of South Central LA.
